Hirsch’s hosts the Germiston Domestic Worker of the Year competition

Nominate your domestic worker for this exciting competition.

Hirsch’s Meadowdale has an exciting competition just for domestic workers.

The Germiston Domestic Worker of the Year competition has kicked-off and this is your chance to nominate your hard-working domestic worker.

“Domestic workers are the unsung heroines in most homes around South Africa.

“They are the housekeepers, they take care of basic maintenance in the home, they cook, they are child-minders, some do the gardening – and they generally play an integral part in making sure that everything runs smoothly – and amicably – in the home,” said Brigitte Thysse, the public relations and marketing manager of Hirsch’s Meadowdale.

“I would like to acknowledge these stalwarts in the home by holding a competition for them.”

For the duration of the competition, February to November, each month a Domestic Worker of the Month will be crowned.

The monthly winners will each receive a R300 Hirsch’s voucher and a Hirsch’s certificate.

They will then be in line to be crowned as the Hirsch’s Germiston Domestic Worker of the Year and stand a chance of winning a R5 000 prize and a bed and base set.

The grand finale of the competition will take place in November.

If you would like to nominate your domestic worker for the monthly competition, you must send Thysse a 100 word motivation on why she deserves to be the Domestic Worker of the Month.

Include your domestic worker’s name and surname.

Email your entries to brigitte@hirschs.co.za.

Thysse can also be emailed at the above email address for more information.

Entries are now open for the February Domestic Worker of the Month competition.

Entries close on February 18, at 10am, where after they will be judged and the winner contacted.
