A man was recently arrested by the Primrose police, in Libra Road, following a housebreaking and theft.
The incident was reported to Primrose police by the complainant, who alleged that he left his house to go shopping.
When he returned he noticed the light that he left off was on.
Upon further inspection he realised that someone had broken into the house.
The man told police that a black and white X-box, a Play Station, ID card, R1 000 in cash and other electronic devices had been taken during the robbery.
“Our dedicated detectives followed the matter and the suspect was arrested and detained at the Primrose Police Station.
“During the booking process it was discovered that the suspect was wanted in Cape Town, in yet another case of possession of suspected stolen property,” said communications officer for the Primrose police Sgt Styles Maome.
The accused will appear in the Germiston Magistrates Court before being handed over to police in Cape Town.
