Local bodybuilders make province proud
Bodybuilders compete at the IFBB South African Championships.
The International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) South African Championships were held at Cape Town’s Grandwest Casino, recently.
Bodybuilders and fitness athletes from all over South Africa represented their provinces at the national competition.
Four athletes from Primrose’s Unique Physique Gym, Marius Wessels, Anzelle Koekemoer, Tankiso Lucky and Logan Wessels, represented Central Gauteng at the massive event.
Koekemoer placed third in the Women’s Fitness division, and Marius Wessels placed sixth in the tough Masters’ division, while Lucky and Logan Wessels were eliminated in the pre-judging round.
“It was a huge competition and to be chosen to represent your province at a show of this magnitude is an accomplishment in itself; well done to all,” said Marius.
