The commander of the Primrose Police Station, Col Mduduzi Khuzwayo, recently visited Hoërskool Primrose High School.
He discussed the importance of education and a safe learning environment.
“Col Khuzwayo advised the students that they should study hard and stay away from criminal activities,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.
“He explained that they are the country’s future leaders and that comes with a great deal of responsibility.
“The Primrose police are in the process of organising awareness campaigns, and hope to visit all the schools in the area very soon.
“During the visits we will search the children for any illegal substances they may have in their possession.
“We hope that the campaigns will improve the learning environment for both students and teachers.”
