IEC’s count draws to a close

Residents of South Africa headed to the polls on May 7 to cast their votes in the National and Provincial elections.

The results are slowly being calculated and the ICE is confident the that the results will be announced on Saturday, May 10.

As it stands the current top three in the results in the National elections for Ekurhuleni are:

•  The ANC with 56.24 per cent.

• The DA with 27.12 per cent.

•  The EFF with 10.62 per cent.

The top three parties remain the same in Ekurhuleni’s Provincial election results.

•  The ANC with 54.73 per cent.

• The DA with 29.42 per cent.

•  The EFF with 10.60 per cent.
