A 28-year-old man has been arrested by the Germiston SAPS, for allegedly raping a woman.
The incident took place on Wednesday, when the woman was walking along the railway line, in Dukathole.
It is alleged that as she was walking she was approached by two men, one of whom produced a knife and threatened her.
The men then grabbed the complainant and took her to an open veld, next to Kuthalo Hostel, where they both allegedly raped her.
After she reported the matter, the Germiston police acted quickly and one of the men was later arrested and detained at the Germiston Police Station.
He was due to appear in the Germiston Magistrates Court on Friday.
