Man nabbed for Roos Street vehicle theft

Man arrested for car theft.

The Primrose police arrested a 30-year-old man on Tuesday, February 4, following a vehicle theft in Roos Street.

The arrest was made when a man came into the Primrose Police Station to open a case of vehicle theft.

He told officers that he had parked his car outside a local old aged home and gone inside to visit a relative.

When he came back out, his vehicle was gone.

Officers began an investigation and before long they had traced the culprit and he was arrested.

“Following this theft, we appeal to the community to be carefull when parking their vehicles on the street.

“Management compliments the members involved in this investigation and arrest, we hope it will send a message to all would-be criminals,” said the communications officer for the Primrose police, Const Styles Maome.
