The Primrose police warn the community of Primrose to be extra careful of crime, especially Sectors Two and Three, when they park their vehicles in the evenings.
Here are some vehicle safety tips that community members should bear in mind at all times:
- Remove all valuables, for example, laptops, cellphones and toolboxes.
- Â Make sure to park vehicles in a safe place and not outside your yard.
- Â Check if all doors and gates are closed and locked.
- Â Car stereos with removable faces should be removed before exiting the vehicle.
“Theft of contents in motor vehicles has shown a slight increase in these two sectors,” said Const Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.
