Pellet gun shooter nabbed

A man has been arrested for attempted murder.

The Primrose SAPS recently arrested a 30-year-old man for attempted murder.

He was nabbed at the corner of Main Reef and Stanley roads, after the complainant laid a charge against him at the police station, accusing him of shooting at him with a pellet gun.

Const Styles Maome, the communications officer for the Primrose SAPS, said: “The victim alleges that the accused threatened that he was going to shoot him, and then he did indeed shoot him — in the leg using the pellet gun.”

The suspect appeared in the Germiston Magistrates Court and the case was postponed for further investigation.
