Do you love wrapping presents?
Then make sure you help Epworth Children’s Village to raise funds this festive season, by offering your gift-wrapping skills as a volunteer.
Greenstone Shopping Centre, in Edenvale, has agreed to allow Epworth to offer a gift-wrapping service to the public until Christmas Eve.
The gift-wrapping kiosk must be manned during the following hours:
q Now until December 12: normal shopping hours (Monday to Thursday: 9am to 6pm; Friday: 9am to 7pm; Saturday: 9am to 5pm and Sunday: 9am to 4pm).
q December 13: 9am to 7pm
q December 14: 9am to 5pm
q December 15: 9am to 4pm
q December 16: 9am to 6pm
q December 17: 9am to 6pm
q December 18 to 23: 9am to 8pm
q December 24: 9am to 6pm
All volunteers manning the kiosk will be trained and all volunteers must be professional, friendly, courteous and appropriately dressed at all times while on duty.
Volunteers are also required to ensure that they familiarise themselves with the layout of the mall, so they can assist the public with general matters like directions to bathrooms, the Customer Service Desk or security personnel.
This is a wonderful marketing and fund-raising opportunity for Epworth Children’s Village, but requires quite a number of dedicated volunteers to help.
Epworth will train you and give you adequate information to be an effective ambassador of the organisation.
