Fund starts to grow

Do your bit for animals this festive season.

Well done community!

This week has seen the Germiston SPCA’s Christmas Cheer Fund take a wonderful leap.

It is currently sitting on R13 186.50.

However, with the festive season approaching fast, much more is needed to make sure the animals in the SPCA’s care are able to eat and be looked after.

At this time of year, more and more animals find themselves abandoned or roaming the streets as strays.

This is where the SPCA steps in to provide these desperate animals with shelter and food.

But, in order to do this, the society needs funds.

The fund will run until the end of January and all the money raised will go towards the care of abused, abandoned and stray animals over the festive period.

All donations will be acknowledged in the GCN on a weekly basis.

It is so easy to help.

All you need to do is make a donation, big or small, it doesn’t matter, as every cent helps.

When making your donation, please give your first name and surname, so that you can be thanked properly in the GCN.

Donations can be made at the Germiston SPCA’s kennels, in Junction Road, Driehoek.
