The SAPS held an operation in Primrose on September 27.
Led by acting provincial commissioner Major Fred Kekana, officers arrested 32 suspects for various crimes.
The operation in the Makause informal settlement also saw officers recover a stolen firearm, which had been reported missing in Potchefstroom, North West.

The police carried out cordon and search operations, resulting in suspects facing charges ranging from driving under the influence to illegal immigration.
In broader operations across Ekurhuleni, the SAPS arrested 279 suspects for various offences, including confiscating three firearms and closing illegal shebeens, according to Ekurhuleni district communications officer Captain Neldah Sekgobela.
On September 28, detectives in the Shanela Operation arrested 150 suspects in Ekurhuleni.
The arrests included 84 for contact crimes, 10 for contact-related offences, 14 for serious crimes and 25 related to GBV.

A separate high-density night operation in Germiston led to the arrest of another suspect found with an unlicensed firearm.
Brigadier Lebohang Machakela, the acting district commissioner, commended the SAPS for their success and encouraged community members to continue providing valuable information to help combat crime.
