20 wheelchairs donated to iThembelihle LSEN School

The 100% Foundation, known for sourcing funding and executing projects to build infrastructure, promote education, and ensure food security, donated as part of their ongoing efforts to support the community.

In a heart-warming act of kindness, the 100% Foundation donated 20 wheelchairs to iThembelihle LSEN School in Germiston.

The school, which caters to children with various physical and developmental disabilities, will see significant improvements in accessibility and student independence as a result of this generous donation.

Janap Biemba, senior development and projects coordinator, expressed their happiness in making this much-needed contribution.

“Our mission is to encourage the participation of corporate entities and ordinary people who share our vision to achieve greater social impact together. With this donation, 20 learners will be able to move around with ease,” said Biemba.

The new wheelchairs, tailored to the specific needs of the children, were met with overwhelming gratitude and joy from the learners.

School principal Leonor Ngozi expressed profound appreciation for the foundation’s generosity.

“We are immensely grateful to the foundation for this generous contribution.

“These wheelchairs will make a tremendous difference in the lives of our students, enabling them to move around more freely and participate more fully in school activities,” said Ngozi.
