Germiston Callies host annual Grog Jog
This year Callies visited 4 local pubs. The Club received a hearty welcome at each venue and was hosted in traditional Germiston friendliness.
Germiston Callies Harriers had their annual Grog Jog on December 9.
The Grog Jog has become a traditional event and it was well supported by its members and friends of the club.
The Grog Jog takes participants on a journey around the clubhouse and visits local pubs and sports bars.
“It is a fun event designed to help members and friends enjoy an afternoon of fun and exercise. Although exercise is a by-product of the fun and laughter,” said Charmaine Stockdale of Callies.

“This year Callies visited four local pubs. The club received a hearty welcome at each venue and was hosted in traditional Germiston friendliness.
“On the road, the club received gracious hooting from passing traffic and a friendly hello from passing foot traffic.
Germiston Callies is a household name in Germiston and the club boasts some truly magnificent running records and running history.
“Membership and renewal season is now open for 2024 and the club looks forward to hosting you in the running year ahead,” said Stockdale.
