These visits were part of the stakeholders’ 16 Days Of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign.
During the visits, sweets donated by Chubby Chums were distributed.
The purpose of the visits was to sensitise the community about domestic violence and sexual abuse that recorded an increase in the informal settlements. The awareness campaign was in a form of a door-to-door visit.
The station commander Colonel Eunice Nzuza commended this effort by those who participated.
