Cancer fundraiser held at Primrose Bowling Club

“The reason why I support the PinkDrive is because I have lost a family member due to cancer."

Johnny Joao de Vasconcelos and Pravin Mungal hosted the Power of Pink Market at the Primrose Bowling Club on October 1 and 2.

The event was aimed at raising cancer awareness and funds for PinkDrive. Pravin said the event was a success.

“We were able to raise funds through raffles. Our entrance was free and people came through in numbers,” said Pravin.

“A number of stalls and children’s sections were set up. For entertainment there was music and belly dancers.

“The reason why I support the PinkDrive is because I have lost a family member due to cancer,” said Pravin.

He encouraged people to do regular screenings for cancer and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
