Ekurhuleni Basketball League sees more clubs joining

Three more clubs joined the league.

Ekurhuleni Basketball League played its second match at the Germiston City Basketball Club on February 12.

Three more clubs joined the league. They were Bedfordview High School, Dainfern College and Katlehong Bulls.
Edenvale displayed some dominant performances, showing they were the team to beat.

They demolished the Kwa-Thema defence with an inspiring offensive assault to win their game by 50 points.

Jenny Wu Jumpers from Malvern beat the High School Neighbours by 43 points.

Spartans from Norkem Park, Katlehong Bulls and Soweto Rising Owls won their games by 21 points, 20 points, and 10 points respectively, ensuring the line between the top half and bottom half of the table remains clear.

Head coach and treasurer of Germiston City Basketball Club Seaparo Ramaube said the teams are bringing their A-game.

“The league is going well. Teams are showing they have been looking forward to competing.”
