Recent rainfalls results in the collapse of a wall at P. Pandanassa Village in Klopperpark.

On January 17 the wall at the residential complex collapsed an hour into the rainfall.
“With so much pressure against the wall the water pushed the wall to its collapse,” Quintinn Ferreira, manager of the village said.
“Klopperpark in general has a sewage system that normally blocks up and the water starts to flood, this could have happened to anyone in fact,” said Ferreira.
“We are rebuilding the wall to meet the industry standard and we had to rebuild it as soon as possible bearing in mind that this place has a lot of crime,” said Ferreira.
