“The complainant alleged he knew the suspect from his Facebook account and wanted him to do maintenance in the kitchen,” said Primrose SAPS spokesperson Sgt Styles Maome.
“In November 2018 the complainant made final arrangements and deposited R17 500 via EFT into the suspect’s account. The complainant never heard from him again,” said Maome.

A case was reported to the SAPS and suspect was traced and arrested recently.
He was detained at Primrose SAPS and appeared in Germiston Magistrate’s Court, where the case was remanded for plea and trial.
