Possible drug dealer nabbed in Germiston

EMPD spokesperson Kobeli Mokheseng said EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit members were acting on a tip-off from concerned members of the community.

A woman was arrested on October 9 in Germiston for possession of narcotics and cash believed to be proceeds generated illegally.

“The 40-year-old was cornered on Kubone Street in Dukathole with 17 ziplock bags of crystal meth, Mandrax tablets, 59 knotted plastics of nyaope, one plastic bag containing loose dagga, four sealed syringes, one portable digital scale and 25 new glass tubes valued at R7 000 and R1 136 in cash.

“The suspect was taken to Germiston SAPS and faces charges of possession and possible dealing in illicit substance. She is expected to appear in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court soon,” said Mokheseng.
