School talk on dealing with challenges

Germiston SAPS communications officer Const Maxwell Mabunda said Grade Seven learners were addressed on drugs, peer pressure and life choices.

Communications, social crime and Victim Empowerment Centre (VEC) members held a school talk at Leeuwpoort Primary School in Germiston on October 9.

“The learners had the opportunity to ask questions on how to deal with challenges. VEC members presented their services and motivated the children to talk about problems they face daily.”

“The principal requested ongoing presentations in future to address learner’s challenges,” said Mabunda.
