The EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit members arrested a man and woman in possession of narcotics during a crime-prevention operation held on September 14.
“In Mosiliki section on Mosoeu Street, Katlehong, a suspicious couple was approached and searched.
“The 29 and 39-year-old suspects were found in possession of one plastic bag of dagga, 10 knotted plastic bags of nyaope and 10 pieces of rock valued at R1 500. They also found R1 000 cash,” said Kobeli Mokheseng, spokesperson of EMPD.

“The duo face charges of possession and dealing in illicit substances. They were taken to Katlehong Police Station and will appear in the Palmridge Magistrate’s Court soon,” said Mokheseng.
