Brothers send out a message of hope

Youngsters create posters of hope and gratitude.

For Lambton brothers Callan (10) and Josh (12) Snyman, showing that they have hope for South Africa is important amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

To show their support for essential services workers, as well as the hope they have for the country, the boys created posters which they put on the gate of their home.

“We put the posters on the gate to show we have hope for South Africa,” Callan said.

Josh added, “We also did it to be creative.”

The boys’ mother, Bev, said she feels it is important for them to understand what is happening in the world and to show their support for essential services workers.

“It is important to show appreciation for all the help they are giving to the country,” she said.

Both Callan and Josh are looking forward to returning to school in the near future and are excited to be seeing their friends.
