While on patrol in the Makause informal settlement recently, officers from the Primrose Police Station were called to the scene of a murder.

“Police found a 27-year-old man lying face down with a large stab wound in his upper body,” explained Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.
“He was declared dead on the scene.”
Officers began investigating the murder and soon traced and arrested a 24-year-old man in connection with the crime.

He was arrested on a charge of murder and taken to the Primrose Police Station.
He will appear in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court soon.
