The Primrose police arrested a 21-year-old man on a charge of house break-in and theft.

A Dawnview homeowner made the decision to leave his old furniture in his Dawnview house when he moved to a new house in February.

“The complainant told police when he left the property on February 25, he ensured all the doors and windows were locked properly,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.

When he returned to the house on March 6, he was surprised to find the door had been broken down.
