Jabulani Mendu Foundation helps those in need

The Jabulani Mendu Foundation, which was founded by former Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns player Jabulani Mendu, and director Zanele Molefe, is pleading with the community to help those in dire need due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Mendu, who spends most of his time developing and coaching young players, is asking for assistance and donations through his foundation, to help those who have been affected by this pandemic. The foundation has, over the years, played a huge role in mentoring and helping young individuals from various townships and is asking for assistance with the collection of food parcels to assist those in need.

“The aim of the project is to help and assist where we can and to ensure that we play a role of solidarity as a nation,” said Mendu.

“Giving back to those in need is something we do as a foundation. It is something that fulfills our hearts,” said Molefe.

The foundation has partnered with former players to help townships in Gauteng.

The community can get involved by contacting Zanele Molefe on 079 308 8825, or inbox the foundation on their Facebook page.
