Germiston SAPS nabs 64 suspects

In a continued effort to curb crime in their precinct, the Germiston SAPS took to the streets in several operations between April 27 and May 6. The operations led to the arrest of 64 suspects.

Men nabbed for selling cigarettes worth R100 000 illegally

While on patrol in the Germiston CBD, members of the Germiston SAPS Task Team received information that members of the public were lining up to enter a block of flats in High Road. The officers rushed to the scene to investigate.

Woman nabbed for selling alcohol in Katlehong

While on patrol in the Kwanele Section of Katlehong last Monday, members of the Katlehong SAPS Crime Prevention Unit arrested a 34-year-old woman on a charge of contravening the Disaster Management Act (Covid-19 Act).

Metro mitigates Covid-19 risks at the workplace by screening employees

Over 2 000 City of Ekurhuleni employees were recently screened for Covid-19 in line with the level four lockdown regulations that require screening of all employees returning to their workplaces.
