Ward 36 councillor Wendy Morgan has told the GCN that the metro’s energy department has informed her that a number of suburbs will be without power tomorrow, April 17.
The power will be off from 8am until 5pm for repairs to a hot connection in a substation.
The affected areas are:
• Denlee.
• Lambton.
• Elandshaven.
• Airport Park.
• Rand Airport.
• Germiston Extension (Industries West).
• Webber.
• Portions of Parkhill Gardens.
Remember to treat all electrical equipment as live while the repairs are underway.
