After a day of stage one loadshedding Eskom has announced that loadshedding will be bumped up to stage two this morning (March 10).
The company said in a statement that loadshedding needed to be implemented due to a number of unexpected breakdowns.

The company stated that, regrettably, loadshedding was likely to continue for the rest of the week as there have been delays in returning some generation units to service.
