Sharing the love for a good cause this Valentine’s Day

Carnival City will host Love Potion to raise funds for Cool Dads Foundation.

Love Potion returns to Carnival City for another spectacular concert for a good cause this Valentine’s Day, February 14.

In the line-up for this year’s show are Shekhinah, Samthing Soweto, Black Diamond and Loyiso Gijana.

Love Potion is a fund-raiser for Ekurhuleni-based non-profit organisation, the Cool Dads Foundation, which runs several programmes to encourage and support fathers to play a more active role in the development and upbringing of their children.

“This concert is not only about a celebration of love, but also a promotion of authentic fatherhood, which is the aim of the Cool Dads Foundation,” said Bongani Luvalo, founder and CEO of Cool Dads Foundation.

Carnival City’s marketing manager, Michelle Smith said, “We were thrilled at the response to the Love Potion concert in 2019 when music fans flocked to our Big Top Arena to see Amanda Black, Sjava and Mlindo perform.

“We hope music fans will come out in full support of this year’s show.

“It is for a good cause.”

Cool Dads Foundation has enlisted the help of big hitters in the love movement with pop/R&B vocalist and songwriter Shekhinah, who’ll be bringing her celestial voice, joined by Samthing Soweto, whose 2019 album broke the record of the highest number of users ‘pre-adding’ the album on streaming service Apple Music South Africa before the release of the album.
