Nineteen suspects nabbed in Primrose

The Primrose police share their latest arrest statistics.

The Primrose police arrested 19 suspects between October 31 and November 6.

This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the station.

The accused were charged with a number of different offences.

Charges included driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless and negligent driving, pointing of a firearm, possession of drugs, possession of suspected stolen property, child neglect, murder, common assault, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, domestic violence and contempt of court.

Primrose SAPS station commander Col Albertina Vesi thanked everyone who contributed to the successful arrests.

Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court, where their cases were postponed for various reasons, while others paid admission of guilt fines at the station and were released.
