Katlehong police hosted another stop-and-search operation last Tuesday.
The operation, which led to the arrest of 11 suspects, continued with the Katlehong SAPS Crime Prevention Unit’s ongoing efforts to curb crime in the area.
The accused were charged with a number of different offences.

Charges included assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, intimidation, child neglect, malicious damage to property, theft, dealing in dagga and possession of drugs.
All of the arrested suspects appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court, where their cases were postponed for a number of different reasons.
