A 34-year-old man was arrested by the Primrose police, last Thursday, on a charge of domestic violence.
The arrest was made after a Makause informal settlement woman opened a case against the accused.

“She alleged that the suspect, her boyfriend, accused her of stealing his cellphone and chased after her,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.
“He allegedly assaulted her until blood came out of her eye.”
The victim had to seek medical attention after the attack.

The man was arrested and has since appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court, where his case was postponed for plea and trial.
