VLC to host fun, exciting sailing open day
If you are interested in sailing make sure you go to the VLC open day.
Victoria Lake Club (VLC) situated at Germiston Lake on Refinery Road will be holding an open day this Sunday (August 4) from 9am.
“We are inviting anyone from the area and surrounding areas who would like to try sailing to come along,” said Shellee Nel, on behalf of the club.
The club has great facilities and a strong Learn to Sail programme.
Coaches and members will be taking people for a sail around Germiston Lake.
“Young and old are invited to join us,” said Nel.
“All the equipment will be provided.”

Registration for the new season’s Learn to Sail programme is now open.
“It’s the perfect opportunity to try a new activity locally.
“So dust off the winter cobwebs and let’s go sailing,” said Nel.
