While on patrol in Rietfontein Road last Tuesday, officers from the Primrose police noticed a group of men acting suspiciously.
They stopped the men and introduced themselves.

“The officers searched each members of the group individually and found a suspicious substance in a ziplock plastic bag in the possession of one of the men,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.
“When questioned, the 35-year-old allegedly admitted the substance was drugs.”

He was arrested on a charge of possession of drugs.
He will appear in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court soon.
