Luso’s young ones face Edenvale FC in two thrilling matches

Luso Africa FC’s u-12s and 13s face-off with Edenvale FC’s tough young players in the ELFA Super League.

Luso Africa Football Club’s u-12s played an action-packed home game in the Eastern Local Football Association (ELFA) Super League against Edenvale Football Club on Sunday.

Neville Nkala was the first to find the back of the net with a clear shot, putting Luso in the lead early in the game.

An easy goal by the visitors saw them attempt to scale up the scoreboard, evening the score at 1-1.

Luso sported enough momentum throughout the first half and subsequently paced through Edenvale’s midfielders, allowing Shawn Ndlovu a goal, setting Luso two points ahead as they headed to the locker rooms for half-time.

In the second half, Luso continued dominating over their opponents and secured a 3-1 win against them, thanks to Thando Joshua’s goal.

However, it was a sad turn of events as Luso’s u-13s could not carry on the winning streak set by the u-12s, against Edenvale in their clash.

All scoring efforts were impressively blocked by Edenvale’s goalkeeper.

Although they dominated the ball possession, Luso was unable to capitalise on any of their scoring opportunities, leading to a 2-0 defeat by Edenvale.
