Germiston SAPS arrests 61 suspects in a week

The Germiston SAPS made 61 arrests between June 3 and 10.

Suspects were arrested for various offences.

Offences included:

• Shoplifting: 2

• Theft: 4

• Drunk and driving: 33

• Fraud: 3

• Interfering with police duties: 1

• Assault common: 1

• Reckless and negligent driving: 1

• House break-in and theft: 4

• Possession of drugs: 2

• Possession of suspected stolen property: 9

• Business break-in: 1

All of the suspects will be appearing in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court soon.
