The EMPD high-speed unit conducted operations recently. Two operations in Alberton and one in Germiston resulted in a total of eight alleged speedsters ending up behind bars.
Man allegedly beats and strangles woman
A 22-year-old man, from the Delport informal settlement, was arrested on a charge of domestic violence, recently. The arrest was made after the victim of the alleged attack, the accused’s ex-girlfriend, opened a case against him at the Primrose Police Station.
Model sets sights on winning in America
She is a young woman with big dreams and slowly but surely she is turning them into a reality. Elizabeth-Ann van Aswegen (15) from Lambton shone brightly in the modelling section at the recent Talent Africa Competition.
Officers fill new demanding roles
After being in the same positions for many years, some Germiston SAPS officers were promoted to their new positions recently.
Be careful out on the roads in wet weather
Netcare 911 urged members of the public to be extra careful while driving in the wet weather conditions which were experienced in many parts of our country.
