Hawk Academy welcomes Primrose SAPS

Officers from the Primrose Police Station and members of the Primrose SAPS Victim Empowerment Centre and Primrose SAPS Crime Prevention Youth Desk continue their back-to-school campaign.

The learners, teachers and management of Hawk Academy welcomed a team from the Primrose police to the school, recently.

The visit formed part of the police’s on-going back-to-school campaign.

Officers from the Primrose Police Station were joined by members from the Primrose SAPS Victim Empowerment Centre and Primrose SAPS Crime Prevention Youth Desk, for the visit which aimed to sensitise learners and teach them more about crime.

In addition, learners were reminded why they go to school and taught more about discipline and the consequences of their actions.

“We hope the learners benefited from our visit and will take the advice into consideration,” said Maome.

Before leaving, members of the youth desk encouraged the learners to get involved in the fight against crime by joining the youth desk.
