Nineteen nabbed by Primrose police

The Primrose police share their latest arrest statistics.

The Primrose police arrested 19 suspects between January 10 and 16.

This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the station.

The accused were charged with a number of different offences.

Charges included assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, domestic violence, theft, possession of suspected stolen property, common assault, possession of gold bearing material, reckless and negligent driving, driving under the influence of alcohol, malicious damage to property, dealing in liquor without a licence, shoplifting and warrant of arrest.

The Primrose SAPS acting station commander, Lt Col André Jordan, thanked everyone who contributed to the successful arrests.

Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where their cases were postponed for various reasons, while others paid admission of guilt fines at the station and were released.
