Afrikaanse Hoërskool Germiston learner Nico Jared Govindsamy was the top achiever at the school.
He achieved seven distinctions in English, Afrikaans, mathematics, life orientation, accounting, computer applications technology and physical sciences.
He has preliminarily been accepted at Wits University with a choice of two programmes, one being a BSc in computer science and the other a BSc in physics.
He is leaning towards a BSc in computer science.
The school congratulates him on his outstanding achievement.
