Meet the Raptors

The Raptors Wrestling Club encourages children to keep active.

Hard work and dedication are what the wrestlers from Raptors Wrestling Club pride themselves on.

The club, based in Primrose East, has been training wrestlers for almost 60 years.

This small club, found at the corner of Oak and Quince streets, prides itself on teaching its students about etiquette, self-control, concentration, hand-eye co-ordination and discipline, through a fun and safe environment.

Coaches, Dewald de Wet (who recently received his South African colours in coaching) encourages the children to keep active.

De Wet is looking forward to the new season and knows it will be bigger and better than this year.

If you are interested in joining the club, located in Oak Avenue in Primrose, call de Wet on 083 611 7169 or send an email to dadewet@telkomsa.net or visit the club’s Facebook page by searching Raptors Wrestling.
