Katlehong North police recently conducted a stop-and-search operation in their precinct.
The operation was part of their ongoing efforts to curb crime in the area.
During the operation seven suspects were arrested for various offences.

This included a 36-year-old man, who was charged with dealing in and possession of drugs, after drugs and R2 970 in cash were found in a plastic bag in his possession.
Other charges included malicious damage to property, theft of a motor vehicle, common assault, possession of counterfeit money and assault of a police officer.
All of the arrested suspects appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court, where their cases were postponed for various reasons.
