Youth desk appeals for new members

The Primrose SAPS Crime Prevention Youth Desk is appealing to people, between the ages of 15 and 35 years old, to join the group.

Chubby Chums for the Children’s Homes recently hosted their AGM.

The organisation encouraged the community to join them for the event and invited the Primrose SAPS Crime Prevention Youth Desk to give an educational performance.

The members of the youth desk were delighted to help.

During the event youth desk members also appealed to community members, between the ages of 15 and 35 years old, with a passion for helping the community, to join the team.

The group focuses on awareness campaigns, school searches and motivational performances (with themes dictated and/or determined by the school the group visits), as well as activities that showcase the talents and interests of the members and young people in the community.

Youth desk meetings are held every Monday evening, from 5.30pm to 6.30pm, at the Primrose Methodist Church, in Primula Street.
