Cheers and smiles for spring

Gone are the cold winter days and its hello to warmer sunny days as Miemie’s Day Care welcomes spring the right way.

Smiles, laughter and excitement filled the air, creating a festive atmosphere at Miemie’s Day Care last Friday as they celebrated Spring Day and the new season.

Miemie Botha, owner of Miemie’s Day Care, along with her two colleagues Alida Wilson and Patricia Nyangintsimbi, organised a special picnic for the children.

The sun was not the only bright thing on the day as all the children were dressed in bright colours along with something red to add to the festivities.

Kourtney van der Ross and Christiaan Smit cheerfully welcome spring at Miemie’s Day Care last Friday.

The excited children gathered outside and waited in anticipation to receive their special spring-themed sunglasses and to start the picnic.

Great fun was had by all.
