Leigh Hodgson (news editor of the GCN) and Marietta Lombard (editor of the Bedfordview and Edenvale News and Joburg East Express) handed over their sponsorship donations to Monique van Niekerk (the concert organiser) from Laerskool Die President on Thursday.
Leigh and Marietta have ensured that two needy children will be able to participate in the school’s concert (GCN, August 31) and challenge all mothers to sponsor a child.
You can help, too, by sponsoring R350 for a needy child’s concert costume as there are 50 children who need help.
