An Elsburg resident opened a case of theft early last Sunday morning after noticing that his items had been stolen from his yard.
Following a tip-off and thorough investigation, an 18-year-old suspect was arrested after the stolen property was allegedly found in his house.
The suspect was detained in Elsburg SAPS custody, pending his appearance in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court.
He will face charges of theft and being in possession of suspected stolen property.
