#TBT: 90s powerhouse female characters
It’s Women’s Day and we decided to honour the 90s female lead series characters.
These characters were the mothers, FBI agents, detectives, superheroes and typical teens who inspired us to be a influential woman in the real world.
- Xena Warrior Princess
In a world full of warlords and Gods, Xena Warrior Princess fought for the greater good.
- Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Not only did Buffy deal with typical teenage drama but also saved the world daily from vampires and demons.
- Jill Taylor
Being the only woman in a house of three sons and her childlike husband, Jill Taylor taught us just how strong a working mom could be.
- Olivia Benson
Detective Benson proved to women that even though she got emotionally involved in the most horrific cases, she always caught the bad guy.
- Dana Scully
This FBI character inspired many women to pursue careers in science, medicine and law enforcement which increased the number of women in those fields.
