Know what services are offered at your clinic

A Health Awareness Open Day is planned for Tuesday.

Motsamai Clinic will host a Health Awareness Open Day on Tuesday (tomorrow) to remind residents of the importance of investing in their health and using the many clinical services available to them.

The event will take place from 9am to 2pm at Tsholo Hall, Katlehong.

Health practitioners will use the opportunity to share health tips and break communication barriers by taking suggestions and address any complaints from residents to improve patients’ wellness and create a friendly environment at the facility.

As part of the World Breastfeeding Week activities that is celebrated annually from August 1 to 7, health practitioners will also interact with moms and dads about the importance and benefits of breast milk for their growing babies.

Health screenings for ailments and conditions such as HIV, blood pressure, blood glucose, cholesterol, cervical cancer and prostate cancer will be conducted on the day.
