Print Exclusive: ‘Stop human trafficking now’ says HTI, Hawks

Primrose streets host march against human trafficking.

The crime of human trafficking was brought into the light on Friday when various organisations and community members took to the streets of Primrose with the firm message that it must stop.

Organised by Human Trafficking International (HTI), a Primrose-based organisation, together with the Hawks and the metro, the awareness march was aimed at highlighting the effects of human trafficking on communities and the families of the affected parties.

The theme of the march was “I Give Hope” as per the United Nations’ theme.
